About Avant-Garde

In the mid 80’s Holger Fromme & Matthias Ruff joined forces to fulfil their dream – to build the best loudspeakers in the world. It was from this vision of two idealists that one of the most prestigious and innovative audio companies in the world was born.

Avant-Garde's factory is located in Reichenbach, near Darmstadt, in the Odenwald region of Germany. It is here that they carefully handcraft their horn loudspeakers and amplifiers, which they ship to over 60 countries around the world.

All components are designed for extreme stress and durability. Only the highest quality materials are used and assembled with the utmost care to create an exceptional speaker. Each speaker undergoes 32 tests and quality checks before it leaves the factory.
